Sutherland’s under 14s make PYL grand final
Sutherland Sharks under 14 Premier Youth League Soccer team is set for a rematch with major semi final opponents Marconi in the grand final. The Sharks qualified for the title decider by defeating Blacktown City 1 nil in the preliminary final.
Marconi Stallions will be favourites for the title after accounting for the Sharks by 3 nil in the semi final and playing the grand final on their home ground, Marconi Stadium. The game kicks off at 10.30am on Saturday September 5.

Sutherland has all three teams in junior women’s Soccer playoffs
Following completion of the junior women’s soccer competitions, Sutherland has all three of its teams in the playoffs. Best placed is the under 12 team who finished second and plays in the major semi final for the right to go into the grand final.
Both the under 14 team who finished 4th and the under 16s who finished 3rd are in the minor semi finals. A loss will mean elimination.
Under 12:
Major Semi Final: Manly United v Sutherland Sharks at 9am on Sunday 6 September at J J Kelly Park Wollongong. The winner goes straight to the grand final while the loser plays the winner of the minor semi final between NWS Koalas and Marconi Stallions.
The preliminary final and grand final will played at 9am on Sunday 13 and 20 September respectively. Venues are to be advised but it is understood that the grand final will be at Bulli FC ground in the Illawarra.
Under 14:

Registrations are now open for Sydney FC’s MBF October School Holiday Clinics, where children aged 6 - 12 will learn skills from some of Sydney's best coaches at the clubs official training ground of Macquarie University.
