Seeing Stars
by Patricia Shepherd

For the week beginning 17th June 2008

Full moon in Sagittarius

GEMINI

It has been a pretty action packed birthday month for our twins and the action is not quite over. A head on collision with a loved one or close friend over a situation that has been simmering without resolution can wait no longer.

CANCER

There has been a lot of introspection going on for you this month but a situation at work towards the end of the week may help put things into perspective and bring you out of your shell.

LEO

You’ve reached a bit of a turning point and impulsively want to rush in. You know you have some loose ends to clear up and things will progress far better once you have tied them all up.

VIRGO

With Mercury going direct a situation may arise on Thursday or Friday regarding a decision you made concerning your goals or aims at the end of May now needs to be acted on. This may concern a parent.

LIBRA

The Full Moon this month is rather an intense one because not only does it involve the Sun and Moon but also Venus the Goddess of Love challenging Pluto Lord of the Underworld. What are your relationship undercurrents telling you?

SCORPIO

A financial matter may come to a head, which may require a far amount of business acumen to resolve. It is perhaps the guidance of a business associate and your attention to detail that has you coming up trumps.

SAGITTARIUS

There is a pretty powerful Full Moon in your sign in the wee hours of Thursday morning, which may precipitate a change of attitude or free up some options that were only possibilities before.

CAPRICORN

Our mountain goat is generally quite pragmatic but at times a leap of faith is needed in order to free up not only your thinking but also those practices that keep you locked into routinised behavior.

AQUARIUS

Unpredictable Uranus caught up in a mutable T Square with Thursdays Full Moon suggests you may have a lot of difficulty focusing on any one area so allow yourself and any tasks a wide range of flexibility.

PISCES

Pluto slips back into your Solar 10th house for one last clean up before reentering your Solar 11th house where he will stay till 2023. Use the next 5 months to focus on and rid yourself of those self- limiting beliefs.

ARIES

Arguments with relatives or neighbours may reactive past hurts this week, which have nothing to do with the current tensions. By recognizing the trigger you are able to take one giant step forward.

TAURUS

This week may see you questioning what it is you really need and want in order to feel safe and secure.  Material possessions are generally high on the list and this belief may be up for reassessment.

Full moon in Sagittarius at 27 degrees and 50 minutes

Quite a strong Full Moon on the 19th June, at AEST 3 30 am, with several factors amplifying its effect. Venus Goddess of Love is up close and personal with the Sun in Gemini while Pluto in Sagittarius is taking the Moon into the underworld. Add to this Uranus, the wild card of the zodiac bringing change and disruption.

This Full Moon on the Gemini and Sagittarius axis heightens the contrast between facts and figures with attitudes and theories. One likes to live in the present, focusing on the immediate realities whilst the other is aware of the future, which allows for the gaining of perspective. Here we see the combination of Air and Fire, elements that have a natural affinity, the one characterized by movement the other by transmutation.

When these elements are out of balance life becomes stormy and unpredictable, out of hand and on a path of aggressive destruction.

Use the potency of the Full Moon to reassess your motives and desires so as to develop a conceptual system or philosophy of life, which is meaningful to you in all situations unencumbered by narrow thinking or past programming.

Sabian Symbol for 28 Sagittarius – an old bridge over a beautiful stream is still in constant use.

Sabian Symbol for 28 Gemini – through bankruptcy, society gives to an overburdened individual the opportunity to begin again.

An Astrological Mandala – Dane Rudhyar
