Surf Life Saving’s 2008 National Leadership Challenge

Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) is now seeking enrolment applications for places at the 2008 National Leadership College to be held at Sydney University, 1 - 6 December 2008. SLSA has created a new 'college' style of leadership training specially designed for its members. SLSA promises participants will spend six amazing days with their Surf Life Saving mates, will learn a lot about leadership but probably more about themselves..

Participants will be bursting with ideas and confidence and they will know exactly how to direct that energy when they get back to their club, and what would a week of college be without some challenging activities, fun and games. Young Jordan backs into final

Fifteen year old Jordan White from Sutherland’s SLC Aquadot club has shown good form to reach the final of the women’s 100 metre backstroke event at the Australian Short Course Swimming Championships held in Melbourne this week.

Jordan was the youngest swimmer in the final and came sixth behind the winner 24 year old Frances Adcock.
